We are honored to inform that the factory in our headquarters (Saku-City, Nagano) has received 2018 Factory Greening Award conducted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
On October 31, 2018, a commendation ceremony will be held in Ishigaki Memorial Hall (Akasaka, Tokyo) taking the opportunity of the 37th National Assembly of Factory Greening Promotion Initiatives, an event organized by the Japan Greenery Research and Development Center.
※The award program aims to recognize businesses that operate factories under the mindset stipulated in the Factory Location Law, proactively promote greening of their factories and have made a remarkable achievement in improvement of environments inside and outside their factories. This year, 2 factories including ours have received the awards.

Since the completion of Factory 1 in 1987, we have continued our efforts to green our plants as environmentally friendly factories. Currently, there is 5,471㎡ of green area amid the total area of 21,475㎡.
We have been taking various ways of being conscious the landscape, such as effective arrangement of green spaces, regular cleanup activities around the factory, and illumination decoration in winter, which is the dormant period of the lawn.
We believe that this award-winning is a consequence of a high evaluation for our efforts to improve the environment. We would like to encourage this award to further engage in environmental activities in a neighborhood and to live in harmony with the local community.
